Templates: Export Minutes in Multiple Templates
A month ago, we introduced Cogram's Templates feature to draft meeting minutes in your custom Word (.docx) template. We’re now expanding this capability further.
If you’re a professional in an industry that uses different templates for different types of meetings, Cogram now supports those templates. For example, if you’re working in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction, you can set up custom templates for on-site field reports, design meetings, OAC meetings, or create project-specific templates.
To use Templates, open a meeting in Cogram and click “Download”. We’ve introduced a Default Cogram Template to help you get started. To upload your own templates, ask your Cogram Admin or reach out to support@cogram.com.
Improvements to Cogram’s Meeting Page: Review and Edit Notes Easily
When reviewing a meeting in Cogram, you can now view the transcript side-by-side next to Cogram’s notes, by clicking Transcript in the right sidebar. This is to make it easier to review minutes and cross-check against the transcript.
Need to correct a mistranscription or update a name? Use the new Search and Replace feature to instantly make changes across the entire meeting.
Projects: Create and Manage Projects Easily
Cogram’s Projects feature organizes your meetings and emails by project or client. We’ve made several recent updates to make it easier to create and manage projects.
When creating a new project, you can configure separate rules for meetings and email threads, so they’re automatically assigned to the correct project based on keywords (in meeting titles or email subject lines) or participants (meeting invitees or email recipients). Once your project is set up, invite colleagues working on the same project to access, export, and add their own notes.
Looking Ahead: AI-assisted proposals and RFP review
Reviewing long RFPs and drafting winning proposals is notoriously time-consuming. Identifying requirements and making a bid/no-bid decision alone can take days. That’s why we’re developing an AI assistant for critical parts of the RFP process.
Cogram’s new tool automatically extracts key details from RFPs—including scope, submission requirements, and evaluation criteria—and proposes a bidding strategy that you can review and modify. From there, Cogram drafts a project proposal within minutes, using your firm’s portfolio and internal knowledge base for tailored responses.
If you’re interested in getting an early look at Cogram’s RFP automation tool, please book a 20-minute meeting.
